🌍 World Overview — Holy Land Map

I Am Jesus Christ features a semi-open world set in 1st-century Roman-era Judea, Galilee, and the surrounding regions. The map is not fully open — each chapter unlocks specific regions that become explorable before moving forward. The world is geographically faithful to biblical geography, recreated using Unreal Engine 5's Nanite terrain system.

Jordan River Valley

Chapter 1 starting area. Site of the Baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist. Prayer Spots: 3. Key miracle: Walk on Water (nearby Sea of Galilee).

Judean Wilderness

Chapter 2 desert region. 40-day fasting sequence and Satan's three temptations occur here. Prayer Spots: 5 (critical — stock up before Satan encounters).

Sea of Galilee

Chapters 1–3 hub region. Most Disciple recruitments, healing miracles, and exorcisms occur here. Largest explorable area. Prayer Spots: 8.

Capernaum Village

Chapter 2–3 urban area. Matthew's tax booth location, several healing NPCs, and the Feeding the 5000 sequence nearby. Prayer Spots: 4.

Jerusalem

Chapters 4–6 main area. Most complex region with largest NPC density. Pool of Bethesda, Temple Mount, Garden of Gethsemane, and Golgotha are all here. Prayer Spots: 6.

Golgotha / Calvary

Chapter 6 final region. Linear path to the Crucifixion site. One hidden Prayer Spot at the northwest cross base — critical before the final Satan encounter. Prayer Spots: 1 (hidden).

🔵 Prayer Spot system: Prayer Spots are glowing blue interactable points visible only with Divine Vision active. Interacting with them fully restores the Faith bar. They do not respawn once used — each is a one-time resource. There are 27 total Prayer Spots across all regions. Using all 27 unlocks the "Man of Prayer" Steam achievement.
